AOTA Code of Ethics

I read through the AOTA Code of Ethics numerous times throughout this term, especially in my healthcare management and policy course. I had several opportunities to identify ethical violations in case scenarios. I realized the principles can be used to guide ethical decision making when faced with an ethical dilemma. I made an AOTA Code of Ethics quick reference guide that includes the principles and core values of the OT profession that I can reference in the future. It is important to be an ethically grounded and client centered OT practitioner. I am confident I will integrate the AOTA Code of Ethics in daily practice and situations.
